Preparing and Integrating Arab University Students into Competitive Jobs

Since 2016, Kav Mashve is providing industry-specific Campus Business Clubs (CBC) at prime universities and colleges across Israel to Arab students in higher education to improve their chances for successful careers in leading companies in Israel. The program has already prepared over 1,000 students. 

Each club includes 15-20 Arab students within the same field of study e.g. human resources, law, engineering, biotechnology, finance, and computer science. They are ambitious students with high potential, commitment, and desire to integrate jobs appropriate to their education. 

The one-year program offers industry-specific soft-skills workshops, socio-cultural awareness, job search guidance, company site visits, networking with leaders in the respective fields, mentoring opportunities with executive Arab professionals, among others. The training process of the program was built in collaboration with relevant employers for each professional field and accordingly is in full coherence with their needs. Additionally, to increase the students’ exposure to their trades, they are required to complete a project for a partnering employee. Since 2022, we also cooperate with leading companies to offer some of the club participants student positions through the program.

With the assistance of Kav Mashve, over 70% of the program graduates are placed in prestigious jobs commensurate with their skills and education within one year after graduation.
