A Strong Female Role Model in High-Tech
Claudine Armaly had been working with technical engineering at Intel for 15 years when she became interested in a management career. Even though she was one of the most talented engineers, she found it hard to obtain a promotion, especially as a working woman with a family to support.
By participating in Kav Mashve’s Lead Forward program, Claudine gained essential self-confidence, management skills and a professional network. She is still in close contact with the female Arab professionals from the program who continue to empower each other through work, family and life overall.
After completing the program, Claudine has excelled to Product Engineering Manager, supervising a team of engineers. Today, there is an internal community for Arab employees at Intel where Claudine has become a respected manager and role model. Through this role, she is mentoring other junior female employees. Additionally, Claudine has been invited to speak at influential events such a an open panel discussion for students at the Technion in Haifa.
